Man Convicted of Killing His Wife With Scissors

A Daly City man was convicted of first-degree murder Wednesday for stabbing his estranged wife to death with scissors in a San Mateo office building.
Lawrence May, 50, was found guilty of stabbing Sharen Sulpizio May, 40, more than 100 times in a lobby elevator in 2004.
May, who could face life in prison without the possibility of parole, was scheduled to be sentenced March 21.
May testified Monday that he was high on methamphetamine.
