Will it take a major accident to convince the powers that be that Los Angeles International Airport is already saturated with air traffic, and the surrounding area with ground traffic? The money spent on moving the south runway would be better spent on development of L.A. World Airports’ Palmdale property. Palmdale is a convenient location for the fastest-growing part of the greater Los Angeles area.
