Crash Minutes Into Flight Leaves 45 Dead

A Pakistan International Airlines plane slammed into a wheat field and exploded into flames minutes after takeoff, killing all 41 passengers and four crew members.
Witnesses said the 27-year-old Fokker F-27 turboprop spiraled down on the outskirts of Multan, about two miles from the city’s airport.
About 500 grieving relatives gathered to claim the remains of loved ones, many of whom were burned beyond recognition.
