Re “In Cold Blood: Iraqi Tells of Massacre at Farmhouse,” July 6
How different are our American soldiers than Saddam Hussein and his thugs? The alleged rape of a 15-year-old in her own home and the alleged killing of her mother, father and sister by U.S. soldiers? I am disgusted and angered.
Why does the media keep saying “members of her family” were killed instead of using the words “mother,” “father” and “sister”? It seems to be a ploy to make it more impersonal rather than hitting people in the gut where it should.
I have never been more disgusted and ashamed of our country and government than I am now.
