Falco’s stellar, and deserves an Emmy nod
- Share via
THANK goodness for Paul Brownfield’s article about the latest, ludicrous awards-show goof: the failure of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to nominate Edie Falco for an Emmy this year [“Another Emmy for Edie Falco? Fuggetaboutit,” July 7].
It’s my opinion that Falco should have won every year for “The Sopranos,” not just once. Her character is so much more interesting, believable and three-dimensional than Allison Janney’s on “The West Wing” or Geena Davis’ on “Commander in Chief” that some might feel she has an unfair advantage. But what she does is so masterful that she simply blows away her competition.
