RE “Rock Idealists,” by Ann Powers, July 11: Eddie Vedder declares, “We’re all equals here” to those who paid (him) money to attend -- and we’re separated from him by security, as well as the “VIPs” gathered at the side of the stage. That’s not equality, it’s hypocrisy.
