A 16-year-old girl was wounded in the back in a car-to-car shooting early Saturday but did not appear to suffer life-threatening injuries, police said.
The girl was riding in a car near West 77th Street and Raymond Avenue when a male in another car fired several shots about 1 a.m. The driver of the car that was fired upon, a 16-year-old boy, was not injured.
Police do not believe that the victims are affiliated with a gang but suspect the shooter may be.
