Suspect Gets Recycled Back Into Custody

German police in Ingolstadt were shocked when a suspected thief they had just released stole an officer’s bicycle outside the station and rode off, authorities said.
“They could scarcely believe his cheek,” a spokesman for Ingolstadt police said. “It’s almost impossible to beat.”
The 22-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of stealing handbags and was released on condition he report back to police.
Police quickly rearrested him.
