In a move that’s been done before and is intended to spare San Fernando Valley residents a long drive to downtown, the Los Angeles City Council on Friday voted to hold one meeting each month in the Van Nuys City Hall.
The first meeting is scheduled for April 7 and thereafter will be held in Van Nuys on the first Friday of each month.
Councilwoman Janice Hahn said she would ask next week for a study of the feasibility of holding three meetings per year in the Harbor area.
