Anaheim Molestation Cases May Expand

An Anaheim pastor has been charged with molesting three children ages 10 to 14 in the last decade, authorities said Tuesday, hinting there are many victims.
Raul Rosas Hernandez, 41, pastor of Faith in Action church, is scheduled to appear today at West Justice Center in Westminster to face seven counts of committing lewd acts on a child. If convicted on all counts, officials said, he could get 20 years in prison.
He is free on $100,000 bail.
“We’re pretty convinced that there are a lot of victims out there,” said Susan Kang Schroeder, spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney’s office.
In January, a 16-year-old girl told her aunt that Hernandez had molested her twice in 2001, when she was 12 and 13, authorities said. A second girl, now 21, was allegedly molested three times, from 1996 to 1998, also when she was 12 and 13. And a boy now 17 was allegedly molested when he was 10.
All three were parishioners at Hernandez’s church.
