Daniel Alfredsson scored his career-high 38th goal and assisted on another as the Ottawa Senators reached 100 points with a 5-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins Tuesday in Ottawa.
The Senators have won 11 of 13 and are tied with Detroit for the most points in the NHL.

Minnesota 3, Calgary 1 -- Marian Gaborik scored twice and Brian Rolston scored a short-handed goal for the host Wild. Gaborik has 32 goals.

N.Y. Islanders 3, Montreal 1 -- Rick DiPietro made 33 saves for the host Islanders.

Nashville 3, Detroit 2 -- Martin Erat’s goal in the sixth round of a shootout won it for the visiting Predators.

Philadelphia 2, New Jersey 1 -- Peter Forsberg and Simon Gagne scored for the host Flyers.

Toronto 3, Carolina 2 -- Jason Allison scored the winning goal for the host Maple Leafs with 4:48 left.

Atlanta 5, Boston 4 -- Jim Slater scored in the fourth round of a shootout to lead the Thrashers past the host Bruins.
