Neil Diamond’s “America” greeted hundreds of thousands of demonstrators as they made their way toward City Hall during the immigration rally in L.A. That was two weeks ago, and they probably still can’t get it out of their heads. Still, they should be thankful--organizers could have picked one of these:
“Sweet Caroline”
“Cracklin’ Rosie”
“You Don’t Bring Me Flowers”
“September Morn”
“I Am . . . I Said”
