Man in Freddy Krueger Costume Held in Knifing

A 37-year-old man was allegedly stabbed by man dressed as the fictional character Freddy Krueger from the movie “Nightmare on Elm Street,” police said.
About 7 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 7000 block of Hollywood Boulevard, where they arrested Joseph Zachary, 25. He was wearing a Freddy Krueger hat, wig, striped sweater, simulated scars and brown leather gloves with 6-inch blades attached to the fingers, police said. The unidentified victim suffered a wound to his abdomen. He was treated at a local hospital and released.
