Pure disgust over Simpson deal

Re “Simpson to tell how he could have killed pair,” Nov. 16
I am disgusted by News Corp. owner Rupert Murdoch and publisher Judith Regan’s decision to broadcast or publish anything O.J. Simpson has to say. He had his day -- many days -- in court, and most people believe he’s a vicious killer. To even speculate, for profit, about the brutal murder of his children’s mother and her friend, Ron Goldman, makes him even more disgusting than he already was. Shame on Simpson, Regan, News Corp. and anyone who buys or watches this cruel trash.

It is absolutely incredible that Simpson is so sure of himself that he has actually written a book about the murders and plans a televised interview. This amounts to an in-your-face confession. He obviously considers himself above the law, legally and morally. We should all refuse to watch the interview or buy the book.

In 1954, U.S. Army attorney Joseph Welch asked the demagogue Sen. Joe McCarthy, “Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last?” With the upcoming program “If I Did It” on Fox, I have to ask the same of Murdoch and Simpson.
Anything for the almighty buck. How despicable these two are.
