A La Habra man who admitted molesting his young daughter and posting videos of the sexual attacks on the Internet was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison Monday.
The 45-year-old man, whose name is being withheld to protect his daughter’s privacy, had pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography and said he sexually molested his daughter from the ages of 4 to 7, authorities said.
After serving his sentence, he will be under supervised release for the rest of his life.
The man was arrested in September 2005, and agreed to plead guilty in the federal pornography case in May.
He is scheduled to go to trial on sexual abuse charges in Orange County in January.
Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement learned of him while investigating two child pornographers -- one in Texas and one in Indiana.
They found numerous photos and movie files of the daughter on the Texas man’s computer, and thousands on the Indiana man’s computer.
The Indiana man is serving 17 1/2 years in federal prison, and the Texas man 30 years, both on child pornography charges.
Federal officials said the girl, now 8, had been removed from her home but did not provide details on her whereabouts.
