Wal-Mart and Brooks team again

Wal-Mart can’t get enough of Garth Brooks. After last year’s bargain-priced six-disc box set, the company has teamed up with the retired country superstar for another package for the holidays, this time a five-DVD box set that will sell for $19.96.
“Garth Brooks: The Entertainer” will hit stores in early November, and will encompass 15 music videos, three of which were previously unreleased, and seven hours of live performances, including his 1997 concert in New York’s Central Park, along with the usual box-set extras such as photo galleries and bonus songs.
As with the 2005 CD box, Wal-Mart is taking preorders for the new set through its website. Last year, “Garth Brooks: The Limited Series” box turned into the most successful music offering in Wal-Mart’s history, and was certified gold (for sales of 500,000 copies) on its first day of release.
