Boy, Hit by Boat, Is Still in Critical Condition

An 11-year-old Bakersfield boy run over last week by a boat on Shaver Lake remained in critical condition as Fresno County authorities kept searching for the hit-and-run boater.
Dallen McEntire was in a medically induced coma at Children’s Hospital Central California. He had several surgeries after suffering major head injuries when struck by the boat’s propeller while kneeboarding behind a personal watercraft driven by his father on the lake in the Sierra Nevada east of Fresno.
