Hickenlooper headed for win

Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper easily won election to a second term, defeating Danny Lopez, a city employee who barely campaigned.
Hickenlooper, 55, was receiving 88% of the votes. He said he would spend his new term on initiatives he started in his first, collaborating with business and nonprofit organizations and promoting open government.
