From Times Wire Reports
The trial of a man accused of killing his wife and then shooting the judge handling their divorce was ordered moved to Las Vegas after a Reno judge said he couldn’t find enough impartial jurors to ensure a fair trial.
Citing extensive news coverage and a relatively small pool of potential jurors in Washoe County, Judge Douglas W. Herndon granted a motion by Darren Mack’s defense lawyers for the change of venue.
Jury questionnaires will go out in Clark County next week with jury selection scheduled to begin Oct. 15.
