Santa Barbara County narcotics detectives seized marijuana valued at nearly $1 million in a raid on Industrial Digital Services, an office site near Santa Barbara’s airport, the county Sheriff’s Department said Monday.
More than 360 marijuana plants growing indoors and 60 pounds of processed marijuana were found, as well as records that steered investigators to a marijuana operation inside a commercial building in San Rafael, north of San Francisco.
A Sheriff’s Department spokesman said no business equipment was found in the Goleta raid.
Five people allegedly trimming and drying marijuana were arrested, and charges are pending.
Paul Fischer, 57, was arrested on suspicion of running the operations at both sites, authorities said.
