A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of killing his 19-year-old live-in girlfriend, who was shot and fell from a window in their Altadena home, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said Sunday.
Tony Taylor was being held on $50,000 bail, according to the sheriff’s inmate database.
Sheriff’s officials went to the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue about 5:30 p.m. Saturday and took the woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Denise Fuchs.
During the course of the investigation, sheriff’s homicide detectives learned that “she had either been pushed out or fell out” of a window, Fuchs said. Authorities had not determined whether she was shot before or after the fall.
