‘Demonic’ killer gets 50-year term

A man who killed and dismembered his wife was sentenced in Mount Clemens to at least 50 years behind bars by a judge who called his actions “demonic.”
Stephen Grant choked his wife, Tara, to death, then cut up her corpse in a machine shop, prosecutors said.
Macomb County Circuit Judge Diane Druzinski called Grant’s actions “demonic, manipulative, barbaric and dishonest.” She noted how Grant went so far as to cry on camera, begging for his wife to come home, after he had already killed her.
