Re your double dismissal of Oprah Winfrey and Josh Groban, calling him an “undistinguished” singer, in “Overrated” [Dec. 27]:

What “distinguishes” a singer like Groban is that millions of people love -- and yes, respect -- his beautiful voice and music. You don’t attain the honor of having the bestselling album of the year by being mediocre.
