at Phoenix 129, Indiana 122: Raja Bell made two three-point baskets in the final 2 1/2 minutes of overtime and the Suns rallied from a 14-point deficit after Steve Nash left because of flu in the third quarter. Houston 101, at New York 92: Yao Ming scored 36 points in the Rockets’ season-high fourth straight victory. The Rockets seized control immediately after Knicks Coach Isiah Thomas was ejected in the opening minute of the final quarter when he came onto the floor to argue with referee Eric Lewis.

at Toronto 109, Philadelphia 96: Anthony Parker matched his season high with 22 points, Chris Bosh had 21 and the Raptors handed the 76ers their season-high fifth straight loss. Toronto ended a three-game home losing streak and avoided its longest home skid since a five-game slide from March 29-April 9, 2006.

at New Jersey 99, Seattle 88: Richard Jefferson scored 28 points in a blowout that probably prevented Jason Kidd (16 points, 11 assists and five rebounds) from recording a fourth straight triple-double. Charlotte 95, at Boston 83: The loss ended the Celtics’ nine-game winning streak and spoiled their bid for the fastest start in team history to 30 wins. The 1959-60 Celtics started 30-4 before going on to win the NBA title. The current Celtics are 29-4, including 16-2 at home.
