Convention picks

Re “Divided it stands,” editorial, Jan. 17
So the Republican Party has no clear leader after three contests. Hooray! As a voter, I’d like to see Republicans and Democrats go to their respective party conventions without a clear winner. These pretty boy/girl contests have not produced anyone worth being called president of this nation more than twice in the last 50 years. People should ensure there is no clear winner in the primaries so the conventions will know that Americans are looking for a leader who will pull the country together regardless of party, not continue to divide it; a leader who follows the Constitution, our laws and the will of the people.
