Re “Chinatown a living legacy,” June 28
Someone once said that we are all the product of 10,000 generations. The heartwarming article on Chinatown’s 70th anniversary spotlights the tremendous importance the Chinese people place on family and tradition while urging upward mobility for their children who, through hard work, become professionals and homeowners far away.
It’s a life’s lesson in the making for all of us, as time, space and environment are bridged to keep the past alive.
