Re “The Plate-Snatching Problem” [Letters, Feb. 28]: I firmly believe that since restaurant prices are getting higher and higher, I don’t want to just “eat out,” I want to enjoy a “dining experience,” which includes not being rushed. It’s one reason I almost never go out for lunch during the workweek.

A couple of fabulously paced restaurants are the Water Grill in downtown L.A. and Luna Park on La Brea near Wilshire.
