Broadcom exec quits for new job

Broadcom Corp. said Yossi Cohen quit as head of its mobile platforms group to become chief executive at another company.

Cohen, who joined Irvine-based Broadcom in 1997, will leave March 16. The company declined to disclose the name of the firm Cohen would lead.
