* at Philadelphia 4, N.Y. Islanders 1: Martin Biron remained perfect against the Islanders this season, stopping 32 shots for the Flyers. Biron beat the Islanders for the sixth time this season and could make it 7-0 if he gets the start against them Saturday. The Flyers won their third in a row and moved into seventh in the Eastern Conference.
* at Chicago 4, St. Louis 3 (OT): Patrick Kane scored 1:09 into overtime after James Wisniewski tied it in the final minute of regulation and the Blackhawks moved four points behind Colorado for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot with six games left. Kane scored off a rebound of Niklas Hjalmarsson’s shot from the left point.
