Re “Reversing the charges,” Column, April 24
The president is right to put heat on the credit card companies for the various ways they are ripping off people. But who put these meatheads in that position to begin with?

Finally, after decades of cardholders getting ripped off by idiotic rate hikes, we might be turning the tables on the greedy, money-grubbing credit barons.
These corporations are already drunk with our money, and if left alone to continue their insidious practices, they will do their best to give us all a slow ride into insolvency.
P.S.: Has it dawned on anyone that our president has already done more for the country than the last one ever did?
