Portland State defeats Pepperdine, 93-81

Portland State 93, at Pepperdine 81: Phil Nelson had career highs of 28 points and eight three-pointers as the Vikings defeated the Waves. The Vikings (5-4) made 17 three-pointers, one shy of the school record. The Waves (3-8) had five players score in double figures, led by Keion Bell and Lorne Jackson, who had 16 apiece.

at Northern Arizona 68, UC Riverside 56: DeAngelo Jones and Cameron Jones each scored 17 points for the Lumberjacks (3-5). The Highlanders’ winning streak ended at five games. Rudy Meo led the Highlanders (5-3) with 16 points.
