Housing: A June 29 editorial on proposed rent-control legislation in San Francisco stated that the legislation had been amended to make it more palatable to the Board of Supervisors. In fact, Supervisor Chris Daly says that the changes were made to better reflect the intent of the legislation and because of a threatened veto by the mayor.
