Former 1970s radical Sara Jane Olson checked in with her probation officer Thursday on her first full day back in Minnesota after serving seven years in California prison for bank robbery and attempting to kill Los Angeles police officers while a member of the Symbionese Liberation Army.
Olson met with her probation officer for about 45 minutes in St. Paul, a spokesman for Ramsey County Community Corrections said.
Olson, 62, arrived Wednesday evening in Minnesota, the state where she spent more than 20 years in hiding.
