AT MINNESOTA
When: 6 PDT.
Where: Xcel Energy Center.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.
Records: Ducks 0-1-0, Wild 0-1-0.
Record vs. Wild (2008-09): 2-2-0.
Update: After allowing the Sharks to score three of their first four goals in the first 20 minutes in a season-opening loss Saturday, second-line center Saku Koivu said, “It wasn’t the performance we were looking for.” It probably won’t be any easier for the Ducks, who begin a four-game trip today in Minnesota. The Wild has won seven openers in a row. Meanwhile, Anaheim has many issues to iron out. They include establishing a defensive identity without Chris Pronger and Francois Beauchemin, addressing a goalie competition between Jonas Hiller and Jean-Sebastien Giguere and solidifying a new second-line that includes off-season acquisitions Joffrey Lupul and Koivu.
