Flames chase Roberto Luongo after two periods, beat Canucks 5-3

Dustin Boyd and Brian McGrattan each had a goal and an assist, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 26 saves in the Calgary Flames’ 5-3 victory against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night.
Curtis Glencross, Nigel Dawes and Dion Phaneuf also scored for the Flames (5-2-1), who built a 5-0 lead and chased Vancouver goalie Roberto Luongo after two periods.
Rick Rypien, Mikael Samuelsson and Christian Ehrhoff scored for Vancouver (2-4-0).
With the victory, Calgary ended a three-game winless streak and moved into a tie with the Colorado Avalanche for top spot in the Northwest Division.
Luongo stopped 14 of 19 shots he faced through two periods, while Andrew Raycroft stopped all five shots he faced in the final frame.
