“Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas”: The “Happening today” highlights in Tuesday’s Calendar section said the play “Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas” was opening Tuesday night with tickets for $35 to $55. However, these are preview performances, not the official opening. Opening night is Sept. 16, and tickets are on sale to the public for Sept. 17 through Oct. 18 at $45 to $74.
