Update: With defender Jonathan Bornstein and midfielder Sacha Kljestan away with the U.S. national team as it prepares for the World Cup, this is hardly the best time for slumping Chivas to play the defending league champion. Real is coming off a 3-1 win over Houston, an impressive result achieved in the absence of forward Robbie Findley, who also is in the U.S. camp. Chivas forward Justin Braun is questionable because of a left knee sprain, so striker Maykel Galindo may return after being out because of a left ankle sprain. Chivas is coming off back-to-back shutout losses to Houston and Columbus and is in last place in the Western Conference.
