Well-known for her pop art paintings of beguiling young women in fanciful backdrops, Japanese pop artist Yumiko Kayukawa will be signing her work at the opening of her new show, “49 Days.” Kayukawa’s show runs through Sept. 23 in conjunction with surrealist painter and Otis professor Nathan Ota’s new exhibition “An Unforeseen Homecoming.” La Luz De Jesus Gallery, 4633 Hollywood Blvd. Artist reception, 8-11 p.m. Fri.
