‘New Girl’ Zooey Deschanel puts old place up for sale

Actress Zooey Deschanel, who stars on “New Girl,” has listed her Hollywood Hills home for sale at $2.195 million.
The single-story Traditional sits on a half-acre of bucolic grounds with woodland views.
The main house, built in 1933, features original details, formal living and dining rooms, three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The updated kitchen has a farmhouse sink and a center island. The breakfast area looks out onto the gardens.
A separate guest unit includes another bathroom.
Deschanel, 35, will star in the upcoming movies “The Driftless Area” and “Rock the Kasbah.”
The property last changed hands in 2009 for $1.65 million, public records show. She recently bought a house in Manhattan Beach.
