2 killed in Riverside County helicopter crash; NTSB investigating

Two people were killed Friday in a helicopter crash in a hilly, unincorporated area of Riverside County.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the crash site near Pulsar View Road and Chastity Road in the Perris area at 12:39 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a downed helicopter.
Authorities have not released any information about the two victims. The Federal Aviation Administration said the deceased were the only two on board the Bell 407 helicopter.
Authorities declined to provide additional information.
The National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation and provide any updates, according to the FAA.
Northern Californians were able to see the aurora borealis, or northern lights, Thursday due to a severe geomagnetic spacial storm, scientists said.
