LL Cool J puts a beat-down on burglary suspect

LL Cool J delivered a broken jaw and broken nose to a suspected burglar at his Studio City home in the wee hours Wednesday, police sources told L.A. Now, in a “knock-down, drag-out” fight that occurred after the rapper and actor heard sounds coming from the kitchen and went downstairs to check things out.
The suspect, described by police as a transient, reportedly rushed the “NCIS: Los Angeles”star, and the fight ensued.
LL Cool J, real name James Todd Smith, was reportedly holding the suspect when police arrived after 1 a.m. The intruder, who was not identified, was hospitalized for treatment of his injuries, TMZ said.
“Mama Said Knock You Out,” indeed.
