Supergirl “Glee” alum Melissa Benoist stars as Krypton’s favorite daughter in the premiere of this new series. Helen Slater (the movie “Supergirl”) and former TV “Superman” Dean Cain are cast as her foster parents. Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan and Jenna Dewan Tatum also star. 8:30 p.m. CBS
