The Originals Even the undead take note of the holiday season in this new episode as Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah (Daniel Gillies, Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt) revisit a seasonal tradition from when they were younger. 8 p.m. KTLA
The Great Christmas Light Fight The house-decorating contest is back for a second season. 8 p.m. ABC
Hollywood Sessions A panel of Oscar-contending lead actresses — Jennifer Aniston (“Cake”), Emily Blunt (“Into the Woods”), Jessica Chastain (“Interstellar”), Shailene Woodley (“The Fault in Our Stars”) and Gugu-Mbatha-Raw (“Belle”) — have a fun and frank discussion about their films and the industry in the 2014 season premiere of the cinematic series. 8 p.m. EPIX

Restaurant: Impossible In a departure for this eatery-rescue series, chef Robert Irvine has three days to makeover the Double H Ranch, a 320-acre camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York for children with illnesses in this holiday themed episode. 10 p.m. Food

Christmas Wedding Baby During the holiday season, a young bride-to-be and her two sisters discover that her first love has been hired to be the photographer at her upcoming wedding in this new TV comedy-drama. Regarding Susan Sontag Patricia Clarkson narrates filmmaker Nancy D. Kates’ intimate documentary, which uses images, archived materials and accounts from friends, family and colleagues to chronicle the life and work of the influential writer and social critic, who died in 2004. 9 p.m. HBO
