Actor Michael Paul Chan of “The Closer” has purchased a midcentury modern in Sherman Oaks for $1.08 million.
The 1952 post-and-beam house, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,864 square feet, has a butterfly roof that dips in the middle. Granite counters and stainless-steel appliances give the kitchen an updated look. There are views and tree-shaded outdoor living areas.
The home had come on the market in late April at $1,149,000.
Chan, 58, has played an LAPD lieutenant on the TNT ensemble drama since 2005. He was in the Eddie Murphy-created “foamation” animation series “The PJs” (1999-2008) and portrayed an LAPD detective on “Robbery Homicide Division” (2002-03).
The listing agent was Steve Shrager of Prudential California Realty.
