Gunman fires on LAPD cruiser; 134 Freeway closed in search

The 134 Freeway was closed in both directions at Colorado Boulevard Sunday morning after a reported shooting incident involved a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the lanes were closed until further notice because of “police activity.”
No further details were available. But LAPD officials told KTLA that an officer driving in a patrol car reported being shot at near Eagle Vista Drive and Figueroa Street in Eagle Rock around 4:15 a.m. His car was hit but he was not injured.
Officials believe the gunfire came from the 134 Freeway.
