The awe factor in South America

DEVIL’S THROAT is the largest of almost 300 waterfalls that constitute Iguaçu Falls in Iguazú National Park, on the border of Argentina and Brazil. Taller than Niagara Falls and four times as wide, Iguaçu spans almost 3 miles. Kari Williams of San Francisco took this photo of Devil’s Throat with fellow traveler Jeb Mirczak’s camera. The trip included “encounters with 2-foot lizards and, of course Toucan Sam.”
