Man pleads guilty in Burbank bathroom-filming case

A 28-year-old Arleta man pleaded guilty Tuesday to secretly filming a woman in the restroom where he worked in Burbank, authorities said.
Eduardo Herrera pleaded guilty to one count of secretly filming an identifiable person who may be undressed, and was sentenced to three years of probation, 30 days of community labor and a year of Sexual Compulsives Anonymous classes, said Assistant City Atty. Denny Wei.
The case involved an incident last June when a 25-year-old woman discovered a camera under the sink of a single-toilet bathroom at a business on San Fernando Boulevard.
The victim told her father, who reported the incident to Burbank police, said Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
Herrera had reportedly attached the camera under the sink, police said.
The investigation and a search warrant served at Herrera’s home revealed evidence the man was involved in secretly taping individuals in the bathroom without their knowledge, Ryburn said.
