Green had sustained a gash on his forehead during Saturday night’s game at Memphis that required eight stitches.
Because the game in New Orleans was less than 24 hours after Green was injured in Memphis, he was required to sit out the game against the Pelicans because of the NBA concussion rules.
Green shot before practice when the media was allowed in the facility.
“He’s good,” Rivers said. “He’s cleared. I don’t know what they were looking for, to be honest.”
