With 25 points and eight assists, UConn point guard Renee Montgomery led the Huskies past Florida State, 83-71, in the title game of the Caribbean Classic at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Montgomery hit seven 3-pointers in the game, which fell one short of the team’s record for most 3’s in a game.
