Baseball: Consequences continue for Carson-San Pedro brawl
- Share via
The consequences for last week’s Carson-San Pedro baseball brawl continue.
The game was ruled a double forfeit and the schools also had to forfeit tournament games on Saturday.
Carson was scheduled to play Narbonne and San Pedro was supposed to play Gardena in Marine League games today, but they have been canceled “until further notice,” according to City Section Commissioner John Aguirre.
Aguirre is scheduled to meet with administrators from both schools on Wednesday.
The brawl began in the eighth inning, and if players left the bench and participated in the brawl, they could be suspended for the rest of the season.
Carson was on probation for a brawl last season and could face sanctions.
